People bunking off work

Big Brother producers have finally lost the plot, just like most of the people in the house.  People come and go more often than a train station right now and in line with Prescotts move for more houses, they have built another next door... seems care in the community is finally coming to an end.

 

Can't stop watching football.  England have been a nightmare so far - it ages you 10 years everytime they play.  The media however seem hell bent on finding trouble off the pitch - all arrests having been pre-emptive in Stuttgart it was still the lead news with the headlines "Football violence."  No it was drinking violence and you probably see much much worse in many town centres up and down the country every Friday and Saturday night... when will the government make the link?

 

Finally soap stars are becoming interesting, Craig Charles loves coke, well crack actually and as much as he can get his hands on.  Shame it had to be him. The worse thing is that he will lose all his jobs and probaby end up dead, rather than being given the help he needs to get off drugs and clean his life up.  When Kurt Cobain killed himself companys and organisations said that they would help people with problems like this.  They soon forget.

 

Crack may be a bigger problem amoung the famous than once thought.. The Streets, Mike Skinner, wrote a song about an unnamed female singer that appeared on kids tv the morning after doing loads of crack the night before.  Mike himself has become familiar with plenty of narcotics over the last couple of years.

 

I'm too old for all that stuff.

Would you Adam and believe it?  Ever since Sutton and East Surrey had a drought order slapped on them it hasn't stopped raining here.. it's like a monsoon.

Well Shamaz, Shabaz, Shazam or whatever wants the world to know that, "not all gay muslims are terrorists."  Bonnay, sorry Bonnie, is "everything."  Well lets all go home then.. or perhaps not.

 

Ha!  And some dumb ass public school boy with "blue" blood get nervous around "overly gay people" - you fool.. it's Big Brother. You deserve another "dumb ass" dumb ass.

It has been quiet here for a while, probably because my camera isn't working.

 

At the weekend we went along to the Ideal Home Exhibition, thanks to some friends lending us a couple of passes on the last day.  Not much has changed in the 15 years since I went last, still the same gadgets and same people demoing them.

 

There was a limited effort to highlight recycling and environmentally friendly products although this was very limited.  Check out EcoCentric which isn't live yet but will contain some lovely (if expensive) goodies for the home.
